On April 30th at 7:00 PM, the 22nd of July Centre will hold an opening event for a new temporary art installation "Time Does Not Heal All Wounds" by Mari Eriksen, on the center's second floor.
In 2025, the 22nd of July Centre will focus on memorial sites and memorial work in our temporary exhibitions. In the wake of the memorial site competition for the new national memorial site in the Government Quarter, we are opening "Time Does Not Heal All Wounds," an art installation that explores what a memorial site can be and who a memorial site is for.
Eriksen was a participant on Utøya in 2011, and her experiences with terror have greatly influenced her artistic work. "Time Does Not Heal All Wounds" will only be displayed in this form at the 22nd of July Centre.
